Good to know
Snow can make hard floors slippery, so we recommend aiming the machine away from dance floors, stairs and walkways.

We keep a card on file and offer an optional damage waiver (15% of your hire, minimum £10), which caps your liability at £100 for accidental damage under normal use.
02 / Where it works
Office parties, pub functions and family get-togethers. Set it running at the door as guests arrive, or save it for the last song of the night.
A first dance under falling snow is one of the best photo moments you can create. We can trigger it on cue during the first dance, the exit or a sparkler send-off.
Schools, PTAs, businesses and town events across Sussex use snow to bring a crowd together for the countdown.
Winter product launches, retail windows, pop-ups and video shoots that need reliable snow on demand.
Christmas Eve for the kids, a festive garden party or a snowy front door for the neighbours.

Yes. The fluid is water-based, non-toxic and safe on skin and clothing. Avoid spraying it directly into faces and keep it away from food tables.
The flakes are foam and mostly evaporate within minutes. Hard floors may show a light film that wipes off with a damp mop. It won’t stain carpets or clothing.
It can on hard or polished floors if it runs for a long time in one spot. We’ll help you position it over carpet, outdoors or away from the dance floor.
Snow fluid makes foam flakes rather than smoke or haze, so it’s far less likely to trigger alarms than a fog machine. Always check your venue’s policy first, as some have strict rules on special effects.
Yes, and it looks great outdoors at dusk. It needs a dry spot and a power supply. Wind will carry the snow, so place the machine upwind of where you want it to fall.
The included 5 litres lasts roughly [HOURS] hours in short bursts. For a full evening of heavy use, we recommend an extra bottle.
A standard 13A household socket. It draws up to 1800 watts, less than a typical kettle.
Yes. If you’ve booked a Good Frequency DJ, we’ll cue the snow for your first dance, entrance or exit. If you’re hiring the machine on its own, the remote lets a friend trigger it.

Tom made the experience so simple with quick replies, efficient service and explained everything I needed to know.
I needed speakers for two events I was hosting, in June 2025 and June 2026. Tom made the experience so simple, with quick replies and efficient service, and explained everything I needed to know about how to set up and use the speakers. Would highly recommend, and a great price.
Professional, friendly, over and above service. Great equipment and Tom is a great guy to deal with. 100% recommend
If you need a reliable Brighton DJ with high quality equipment, then I would highly recommend Good Frequency. Tom was an absolute pleasure to hire, provided a top quality Brighton sound system and made all our guests feel welcome by catering to their music tastes and elevating the atmosphere. Will hire again.
Professional, punctual and the sound quality was spot on. Setup was quick and the kit looked the part without taking over the room. Music landed well with a mixed crowd, plenty of people up dancing by mid-evening. Good choice for our company’s 15th birthday in Brighton, exactly the night we wanted.
We hired Tom at Good Frequency for a recent 90’s disco charity event. In the lead up to the event, I was impressed with the professionalism and dedication to getting the event just right and how we wanted it. On the night, the dance floor was filled throughout, a great vibe with some great tunes, floor fillers and requests too. The event was a huge success, we raised £2500 for breast cancer, which couldn’t have happened without a fantastic DJ. Thanks so much - we would use this company again and highly recommend for your next event!
We booked Good Frequency for our wedding party and it was the best decision we made. Tom took the time to actually listen to what we wanted, asked great questions about the vibe we were going for and put together a setlist that had absolutely everyone on the dancefloor, from my nan to our mates who never normally dance. Everything was easy and stress free and highly recommend for any wedding or event.
Thank you Tom for making our night unforgettable, we couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Tom did our festival wedding for us, not only is he a lovely bloke, his a great DJ, had the dance floor packed with great tunes. Thanks so much Tom
